PLR, which stands for “Private Label Rights,” provides a great opportunity for anyone hoping to start their own business. In this short guide, we’ll cover the three steps required to establishing a business solely through selling the content you’ve created.

Step 1: Focus on the Right Niche

The first, and most important aspect of making money with a PLR business is choosing the right topics. In the world of internet marketing a topic is known as a niche. Here are the most popular niches:

1. Health and fitness 2. Dating and relationships 3. Making money

These are the most popular niches because they generate the most interest from regular, everyday people. Everyone wants to know how to stay healthy and fit. Everyone experiences ups and downs with dating and relationships. Everyone wants to know the secrets of making money.

By creating content that covers one of these three niches, you’ll have what’s known as “evergreen PLR.” This means it isn’t tied to a specific trend or current event. People will always want to know more about these things, and they will continue searching for them indefinitely.

Of course, you don’t want to simply write about the broader aspects of the topics. You’ll want to drill down and cover some specific areas. For instance, in the health and fitness niche you might choose to write some content focused on getting six pack abs, or losing weight without going on a crazy diet.

By creating lots of content, you’ll attract lots of potential customers when you start to market your PLR packs.

Step 2: Setting Up Your Website and Storefront

If you’re going to sell PLR, you’ll need to set up a site where people can stop by and purchase it without any interaction on your behalf. Of course, you could process the orders manually, but then you won’t have enough time to keep creating new PLR packs for future sales.

You can choose any web host you like. It’s recommended that you install WordPress, which is an easy- to-use content management system. Create different posts and categories for each niche you cover, and provide one or two free samples.

Once this is set up, create a Paypal account for business owners. From there, you can use Paypal’s system to setup links that provide instant delivery once customers to buy your products. It only takes a few minutes to do so. Once you’re done, put the link on the appropriate page and you can start selling your private label rights packs.

The only thing left to do is marketing your new business and getting customers to come to you.

Step 3: Marketing the Business

Your target market for a private label rights business includes anyone looking to create a website that generates a profit. There are dozens of forums focused on this topic, and a quick search in your favorite search engine will reveal most of them.

Set up an account at these forums and start participating on a regular basis. Be sure to include a note about your PLR site in your signature. When people read your posts, they’ll be intrigued by this link and visit your site.

If they find your free samples to be good enough, they’re likely to purchase the product. But you’ll have to price them accordingly. Standard pricing for private label rights content is pretty grim – you’re looking at $5 for 25 articles of 500 words each.

If you were only being paid for these articles once, it wouldn’t prove to be worth your time. But since many people will come to your site and buy your packs again and again, you’ll be generating a massive amount of revenue from a single investment of your time.

As a final tip for marketing your content products, you should set up a mailing list. This will give you an opportunity to announce new PLR packs to your loyal customers, creating huge surges of cash each time you put one up.

After the business is established, you can start outsourcing the creation of the content, making tons of money without having to do any “real work.” Stick with the plan and it’s almost guaranteed to pay off in the long run.
